The best in the replication world as of today. Good step by step procedure n easy to follow. I wish if there was a soft copy.
I can't believe I paid money for this book that seems to be written by a group of writers who have no grasp on the English language. As an MBA, PHD, I spent years
writing APA format papers - I could barely make it through the first few pages without throwing this book in the trash.
I looked through the book and could not see a publisher, so I imagine these guys wrote it themselves. Amazing. In the future, if you guys decide to
write a book - call me - I would be more than happy to review it for grammatical consistencies that have some similarity to the constructs of the
English language
Not as great as I expected.
Recently purchased this book to learn bit more than about Golden Gate and found this book to be an excellent resource. Details on bi-directional replication are exceptional and plenty of detailed examples and screenshots are available. I would recommend this book to anyone from Beginner level to expert.
A gem in itself pretty self explanatory and a must have for any Oracle DBA who is seeking good exposure and hands on experience with Implementation of Golden Gate in real world scenarios.

I am Sr. Oracle DBA but new to Golden Gate. I wanted to use Golden Gate for our Database Migration project.
Someone recommended me to get this book, which I did. I couldn't be happier that I used this book for our migration project. It really worked well for me, especially the detailed pre-requirements, and step-by-step instructions were really helpful. Screen shots and related scripts were blessings to have handy, which made migration a breeze.

I have read many oracle documents and have been looking for some good book on Upgrade/Migration of database using GoldenGate.
But this book is one of the best book I've read and I will be using it for my migration project with nearly zero downtime using golden gate. This book makes my life easy. Worth buying.
Also great book for bidirectional replication setup and configuration using golden gate.
